What we are looking for
A senior SEO professional (or a small, proven team) who can take full ownership of organic growth across our property-management / PropTech domain family — strategy, technical SEO, content, and link building under one roof, with minimal involvement on our side. the domain is smartlandlord.de / smartlandlord.at / smartlandlord.ch smartlandlord.es
Concretely, you should be strong in:
Technical SEO — site audits, indexation, crawlability, canonicals, hreflang for international/ccTLD setups, structured data, Core Web Vitals within CMS scope.
On-page & content — keyword research and keyword-to-URL mapping, optimisation of existing content (not just producing new), internal linking, topic clusters, and full-service editorial production that holds up to Google's E-E-A-T and spam policies.
International SEO — managing a growing family of country domains (.de, .es, .at, .ch, .fr, .it and further ccTLDs) with correct geo-targeting and localisation.
Earned link building — editorial placements, guest articles, digital PR, expert features, and resource/broken-link replacements on thematically relevant, genuinely trafficked sites. Links in editorial main content, dofollow by default, topically close to real estate/PropTech.
Measurement & reporting — monthly reporting built on Google Search Console (clicks, impressions, rankings) and referring-domain growth in Ahrefs/SEMrush, against clear month-over-month KPIs per domain.
About the engagement: ongoing, full-service, long-term. We have invested in SEO for eight months without meaningful ranking improvement, so we are now looking specifically for senior-level people with proven, verifiable results. We work with a detailed RFP that defines scope, cadence, KPIs, and backlink quality criteria — shared with shortlisted candidates.
