I need an architect for a 4,500 sqft wedding barn venue
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
Overview of our project. We have a few vision board ideas and a couple of simple/rough floor plans. We are interested what is all included and pricing structure if we use freelancer and not a local architect. This will be a commercial venue and will need the required Plumbing, Electrical and Mechanical plans as well.
General:
- Size: host 200 guests. We are thinking 4k-5k sqft.
- Bride's room/suite with full bath, outdoor entrance with interior door close to the front of the barn.
- Grooms room/suite with 3/4 bath
- Catering kitchen - option to serve both the interior and east patio
- Bathrooms
- Storage
- Patio on the east side of the barn, accessed through sliding doors.
Exterior
Our vision is a western style barn with the middle open and rooms on the sides. We want to maximize the open space and keep the barn as rustic as we can. The theme of the barn is "Rusty Bucket Barn".
Floor Layout
- a couple examples, but our vision is somewhere in between these two floor plans. The idea is to maximize the area and save on the budget for 200 guests.
- Picture: Building Layout 9-25-22. This is a base design we have used but is lacking storage, and access to the bathrooms from the East Patio. Also would like to carry the sides of the barn to the back and create more open space inside.
- Picture: A-1 Floor Plan. This gives an option for a curricalation entrance for the bathrooms, but we think we need more than 1 toilet in each bathroom. This option provides more of the full suite option for the Bride and Groom Rooms. The Groom's room does not need to be as big as the Bride's room.
