Redesign and Furnishing of a Classic Apartment – Interior Design and Visual Concept
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
I’m looking for an interior designer to help redesign and furnish a ~100 m² (1076 ft²) classical apartment in Budapest, originally built in the 1940s. The aim is to create a stylish and livable home that honors the apartment’s original charm while integrating modern elements and practical solutions.
Scope of Work:
Interior design concept development
Space planning and furniture layout
Visualizations / 3D renders
Recommendations for furniture, finishes, colors, and lighting
Design Preferences and Key Requirements:
Ceiling height: 3.5 meters (11.5 ft)
Original wooden doors and windows are to be preserved or replaced with wood-framed versions
Herringbone pattern wood flooring throughout the apartment
Preferred color palette: black, dark brown, beige, olive green
A large bookshelf is needed to accommodate an extensive book collection
In the living room:
A large L-shaped sofa (e.g., IKEA Vimle)
A spacious desk (e.g., IKEA Idåsen) for working or reading
