Pilates and Barre Studio Design

Hi! I’m working on Relevé Studio, a barre fitness & wellness studio designed as an urban oasis rather than a traditional gym. The space should feel elegant, warm, calm, and safe, encouraging clients to disconnect, slow down, and take care of their bodies in a refined but approachable environment.
The studio is approx. 100 m² and includes: a reception and waiting area with a lounge feeling (tea/coffee/water station and a small fridge for cold towels), a large main barre studio as the core space (mirrors on one full wall, wooden barres, open central area, curtains to soften acoustics and visuals, warm dimmable lighting), a stretching / free barre area connected to the main studio (softly separated, not fully enclosed), compact but well-designed changing rooms, a bathroom grouped near the changing rooms, and a quiet massage/treatment room with a very calm, intimate atmosphere. An iconic mirror spot for photos should be subtly integrated, elegant and minimal (no loud branding).
The material and color palette should focus on beige, stone, nude tones, and warm off-whites, using light natural wood, large mirrors, linen or soft fabric curtains, and fitness-appropriate wood or wood-effect flooring. The overall look should be minimal, soft, and timeless.
Lighting is key: warm temperature only (approx. 2700–3000K), fully dimmable, combining indirect lighting and soft spotlights. No cold or harsh lighting.
