Modern Interior Design & Procurement Consultant – 3 Residential Apartments
Budget: €500 – €1,000 EUR
Only interior designers based in Mumbai, India will be considered for this project. On-site presence required for procurement & logistics. Architecture cabinet can be elegible.
Project Destination: Mayotte, France (Tropical island, Cyclone Zone)
The Project:
We are developing two residential projects on the island of Mayotte:
- R+1 (1 Apartment) : For elderly residents (Mid-to-High End, focus on practicality & safety).
- R+2 (Two Apartments): For short-term rentals (Hotel Standard, robust & replaceable materials).
I am looking for a Mumbai-based Interior Designer to act as our local eyes, ears, and executor for designing, sourcing and logistics, ensuring the supply of all material to the Mumbai port.
Portfolio: Must include past work on vacation rentals or hotel-standard projects (durability focus).
4 Key Missions:
1. Interior Design for the 2 R+2 Apartments (Hotel Standard)
- Create functional, durable design layouts for two identical ~80m² apartments (short-term rental use).
- Focus on easy-to-clean, replaceable, cyclone-resistant materials and space optimization.
=> Deliverables : 3D layout plans, mood boards, and a complete Finishing Schedule (flooring, paint, lighting, bathroom).
2. Cost Estimation & Sourcing for ALL Apartments (R+1 & R+2)
- For R+1 (Mid-High End): Source premium sanitary ware, electricals, aluminum joinery, flooring, and furniture.
- For R+2 (Hotel Standard): Source economical, robust, and easily replaceable materials and furniture.
=> Produce detailed inquiries for all materials and furniture.
3. Supplier Validation & Order Management
- Identify, vet, and negotiate with reliable manufacturers/suppliers in Mumbai (e.g., for modular kitchens in kit form, aluminum windows, sanitary ware).
- Validate that materials is as per spcifications.
- Confirm delivery lead times and ensure quality control.
4. Physical Logistics Coordination in Mumbai
Assist me in Receiving and inspecting all goods at the supplier's warehouses and coordinate to move the material toi a central consolidation point in Mumbai for container shipping.
Resources Provided to the Selected Candidate
- Detailed architectural plans (2 aptmts at R+2).
- Existing mood board and material specifications from the R+1 design.
- A detailed shopping list (checklist) with quantities can be provided if needed.
- Full technical specifications for material and furnitures.
