Modern Decorative Wall Design
Budget: $10 – $30 AUD
I want to transform one specific wall into a striking, modern focal point that is purely decorative and finished in wallpaper. I already have the rest of the room settled; your task is to give this single surface a concept that instantly elevates the space without clashing with existing furniture.
Here’s what I’m after:
• A contemporary look—clean lines, balanced proportions, and a sense of visual rhythm that feels current rather than trendy.
• Wallpaper as the primary material. Feel free to play with scale, pattern, or texture, but the final concept must rely on wallpaper rather than wood panels, metal cladding, or paint effects.
• Digital visuals: I’d like at least one high-resolution render (SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar) plus a straight-on elevation that shows exact placement of pattern repeats, trim, and lighting suggestions.
• A concise specification sheet noting wallpaper brand or print source, roll count estimate, and any prep work instructions.
You’re free to recommend subtle integrated lighting or décor accents so long as the wallpaper remains the hero. I’ll provide wall dimensions and photos as soon as we start. If the concept excites me, there’s scope to roll the same style through adjacent spaces later.
