Interior Designer for Open floor plan

I've just moved in with my wife, and we have an L shaped couch and a large 10 person timber table, but we're looking for ideas or concepts, as well as some indoor plants/decorative pieces to give the house a homely feel. The dimensions of the room are 7x8 Meters.
