Experienced Interior Designer (Guangdong-based) for Commercial Unit in Hong
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced interior designer based in Guangdong province who specializes in commercial interiors (retail shops, industrial units, or commercial spaces). This is a hybrid role that will require a half-day trip to Hong Kong to measure the unit and discuss project requirements in person.
Scope of Work:
• Visit our unit in Hong Kong for site measurement and in-person consultation (half-day)
• Collaborate closely with our team to understand brand identity, functional needs, and usage requirements
• Create interior design concepts and layout plans tailored to our retail/commercial usage
• Deliver 3D renderings/sketches and technical drawings for renovation and construction purposes
• Provide a material and lighting recommendation based on the design
• Support with optional revisions based on feedback
Deliverables:
• On-site measurement report and photos
• Concept moodboard or style direction (optional but preferred)
• Floor plan with functional layout
• 3D visualization or rendered images (SketchUp, 3ds Max, or equivalent)
• Technical drawings (e.g. for walls, electrical, lighting, shelving)
• Materials and finish specification
• One round of design revision
Requirements:
• Must be based in Guangdong province and able to travel to Hong Kong for a half-day site visit
• Fluent in Cantonese (spoken)
• Proven experience in retail, industrial, or commercial interior design
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, or equivalent software
• Strong communication skills and responsiveness
