 Full ensuite bathroom (shower + bath)
 Small walk-in wardrobe
o Bedroom 2:
 Ensuite bathroom (shower only, no bath)
o Bedrooms 3, 4, 5:
 No ensuite bathrooms
o General:
 All bedrooms to accommodate queen size beds

o Family Bathroom:
 Shower
 Bath
 Basin (No toilet)
o Family Toilet:
 Separate from other facilities
o Guest Toilet:
 Separate from other facilities
3. Garage:
o Double garage
4. Kitchen:
o Large open-plan kitchen
5. Dining Room:
o Separate area or integrated into open-plan design
6. Lounge:
o Spacious living area
7. Entertainment Areas:
o Indoor/Outdoor spaces with braai (barbecue) facilities
8. Additional Room:
o Study/Storage room (optional based on space and design feasibility)
9. Garden Area:
o Adequate space for family activities and landscaping
New Apartments (2x 2-Bedroom Duplex):

o Open-plan lounge
4. Bathroom:
o Full medium bathroom with bath and shower
5. Parking:
o 2 parking spaces per apartment
Space Allocation and Prioritization:
• Priority:
o Family home extension to be prioritized in terms of space allocation and design prominence.
o Apartments to be designed efficiently within remaining space without compromising on essential features and comfort.
Additional Considerations:
• Existing Layout:
o The existing family home layout can be changed to accommodate the extension. There is flexibility in altering the current setup.
o Preference is to add onto the existing layout rather than fully demolishing the current structure.
• Separate Structures:
o The family home and new apartments must be separate structures with individual entrances.
• Design Elements:
o Ensure seamless integration of the new extension with the existing family home structure.
o Focus on maximizing natural light and ventilation throughout the family home and apartments.
