Craftsman/Modern Residential Exterior Design
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Just bought a fixer upper in Asheville, NC. I'm looking for an exterior architect with a keen understanding and appreciation for Craftsman/Modern design aesthetics. The primary focus will be on designing the exterior of a residential property. We will be adding additions to both ends of the house and renovating inside. (draft floorplans done, open to ideas and changes. We will also be converting a 3 car garage into a guest house, want it to flow/match with main house.
Key elements of the design should include:
- Mixed use of natural materials, particularly wood/cedar shakes and stone. Ok with taking off some or all of existing stone. The goal is to create a harmonious blend with the surrounding nature.
- Incorporation of large windows to invite ample natural light into the home. The design should balance functionality with visual appeal.
Ideal candidates for this project should have:
- A strong portfolio in Craftsman/Modern design.
- Excellent skills in working with natural materials.
- A proven track record in designing large, aesthetically pleasing windows.
- An understanding of creating designs that are both eco-friendly and visually appealing.
