Cozy Living Room Painting
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
This project involves repainting the interior living room of my home so it feels warm, welcoming, and cozy rather than stark or ultra-modern. Only the living room is in scope, and everything is on the interior—no exterior work is needed.
I already have a color palette in mind that leans toward rich, comforting neutrals, but I’m open to slight tweaks based on your professional eye and how the light moves through the space. The walls will need light surface prep: small nail holes filled, minor scuffs sanded smooth, and a thorough wipe-down before primer and two finish coats go on. Trim and baseboards should be cut in cleanly, and I’d like ceilings left as-is.
All furniture and flooring must be protected, and the room returned to its original condition once the paint is dry—drop cloths up, masking off edges neatly, and a final tidy-up so I can move right back in. Low-VOC paint is preferred to keep odors down.
Deliverable:
• Freshly painted living-room walls (and trim cut-ins) with an even, streak-free finish that matches the agreed color sample.
Timing is flexible over the next two weeks, but I’d like to finalize dates quickly. If this sounds like a straightforward fit, please share a brief note on your relevant interior projects and the prep-to-finish process you follow.
