Commercial Optical Floor Plan Design
Budget: $250 – $750 CAD
I'm in need of a detailed optical floor plan for a commercial property. The plan should encompass various segments including office spaces, retail areas, and specific rooms tailored for an optical business. The primary aim is to optimize space usage throughout the layout.
Key Areas to Include:
- A single eye exam room and an aesthetics room, both identical in size and equipped with small sinks.
- A smaller contact lens training room, with small sink
- An office designed with enough room for a Murphy desk/bed and a sitting area, as well as small kitchenette area (hotel room style with workspace)
- A designated optical lab area where lens edging, finishing, check out, and jobs on order will be stored
- Four dispensing areas, which can be consolidated into one or two desk spaces.
- A compact check-in desk positioned at the front of the property.

Thinking minimalist, industrial meets new york loft and old school record store.
Ideal freelancer skills:
- Proficient in CAD or similar design software
- Prior experience with commercial floor plan design
- Understanding of optical retail space requirements
- Spatial optimization expertise
I will attach the floorplan provided by the landlord. The current design is where we are at, but I would like other solutions and options.
