Architect and Interior Design for 199 sq ft SIP Construction Tiny Home
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am looking for an architect and interior designer for a residential project. The space is small, less than 200 sq ft. (up to 199 sq ft and no more) I have a specific style/theme in mind for the ultramodern design with a sloping roof.
Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in residential architecture and interior design
- Proficiency in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing small spaces
-Engineering and architectural stamps for Florida (USA) needed
- Ability to incorporate specific style/theme into the design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to understand and meet my design requirements
Must have a strong background in tiny and micro-homes and a body of work demonstrating it. Must have knowledge of attaching external water, sewer, and electricity to the home as if it were a recreational vehicle.
The home will be open design and include at least the following:
-kitchen including a midsized refrigerator
-space for a combo washer and dryer
-Full bathroom (shower, toilet, sink, urinal) but not wet bathroom, each item in its own space.
-pot racks (hanging or on the wall)
-Open bedroom likely using a Murphy bed or similar mechanism that also includes a loveseat sofa
-Area for a small desk office table and chair using a TV as a monitor and sitting across from sofa/bed
-A loft over the bathroom that does not detract much from the high ceilings.
12-foot ceilings (6" thick walls, 8" thick room)...open design to make the space look larger.
The front door will be French door
-There will be a maximum of 5 windows (one of which will be in loft area) but the fewer the better as long as the home is not dark during the day
-Walls can have many open shelving not to be higher than 5'4" to open up storage
-All windows and glass French door will have some kind of hurricane protection
-the home will be on a plane concrete slap
-nighttime lighting is very important and should be well planned.
Additional requirements will be given once we have a serious conversation and your designs have been vetted.
Please note I cannot read architectural plans so I need a plan that I can read and understand.
