Need an Indian IP/Copyright Expert to Analyze Music Ownership Situation and Recommend the Best Legal Course of Action

## Project Description

I am looking for an experienced Intellectual Property (IP) lawyer or legal consultant in India who specializes in music copyright.

### Background

About 10 years ago, my father acquired approximately 15–20 original songs from different individuals. The songs were publicly released on YouTube through our official channel at that time. Unfortunately, that YouTube channel has since been deleted.

We still possess various forms of evidence, including:

* Original audio files
* Facebook posts from the original release period
* Other supporting materials that will be shared privately

However, for many of the songs, we do not have formal copyright assignment or transfer agreements.

### What I Need

I am **not looking for someone to simply draft documents.**

I need an experienced professional who can:

* Carefully understand the complete situation.
* Review all available evidence.
* Explain the legal position for each song.
* Tell me what rights we likely have.
* Identify any legal risks.
* Explain what evidence is strong and what evidence is missing.
* Advise what can realistically be done to strengthen our position.
* Recommend the best legal course of action before re-uploading the songs to YouTube and other digital platforms.
* Explain what would happen if someone later claims ownership of one of the songs.
* Advise whether copyright registration is possible or advisable.
* Recommend whether affidavits, declarations, agreements, or any other legal documents would be appropriate based on the actual facts.
* Suggest practical next steps to reduce future legal issues.

If additional legal documentation can legitimately be prepared after reviewing the evidence, I would be interested in that as a separate phase.
