NY PMHNP Insurance Credentialing Specialist Needed
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I run a New York–based outpatient tele-psychiatry group and need a credentialing specialist who can take our Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners from zero to fully paneled with the major insurers we plan to work with. Our PMHNPs have been credentialed before, but new PMHNP are not, so every application will be from scratch.
Target payers
Fidelis Care, HealthPlus (Carelon / Anthem), Aetna, Cigna, BCBS / Anthem, Optum / UnitedHealthcare, and Humana.
Preferred workflow
All provider data is already in CAQH ProView, so I’d like you to build each application from that profile, keep it synced, and handle any re-attestations. I’m comfortable if you use additional tools on your end.
Communication
Status updates by email are essential. A quick weekly summary works, with ad-hoc notes whenever a payer asks for something.
Deliverables
• Completed, payer-specific applications for every insurer listed, submitted on our behalf
• Documentation of submission confirmation numbers or tracking IDs
• Ongoing follow-up with each payer until approval is secured
• Weekly email status reports and immediate alerts for any deficiencies
• Final approval letters or portal screenshots showing active participation dates
If you have a proven record of getting New York mental-health providers onto these panels efficiently and can commit to clear, timely communication, I’m ready to get started right away.
