Need Experts for Consumer Guidance Platform
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
JOB POST: Subject Matter Expert Needed to Provide Reasoning Templates (Insurance / Real Estate / Fitness / Finance / etc.)
Description:
I’m building a new consumer guidance platform that gives general informational help (not legal or professional advice) across different fields. To do this, I’m looking for a subject matter expert who can help provide reasoning templates, common pitfalls, and general frameworks for your domain.
This is a one-time project and does not require writing large amounts of content. I’m looking to capture how you think — your framework — so the system can generate scalable general guidance for users.
Examples of fields I need experts for:
Insurance (claims, P&C, auto, homeowners)
Real estate (leasing, property management, transactions)
Finance (basic personal finance, retirement, budgeting)
Small business operations / entrepreneurship
Fitness and nutrition
Home improvement / contractors / trades
HR and employment basics
Cybersecurity basics
Healthcare administration or billing
What you’ll actually do:
Answer 20–30 structured questions about your field
Provide examples of good vs bad consumer decisions
List common misconceptions
Explain “here’s how a pro thinks about this”
Provide escalation triggers (when someone should seek a licensed pro)
Offer a few sample Q&A responses in your natural style
Time required:
2–5 hours total.
You do NOT need to be available long-term.
Work is fully async.
Ideal candidate:
7+ years experience in your field is strongly preferred. We are looking for professionals with real-world experience who can explain how they think through problems, not just textbook answers.
Comfortable explaining your reasoning in plain English
Our platform provides general informational guidance based on consensus-oriented reasoning, not personalized professional advice. Your role is to help us capture reasoning patterns and validate whether outputs are reasonable for general users.
Friendly, practical communication style
You do NOT need to be a licensed professional (unless your field requires it)
Purpose:
Your reasoning helps train a structured informational engine that gives users general guidance. This is NOT legal, financial, or medical advice — general info only.
Payment:
Flat fee — please apply with your rate.
