Insurance Billing & Claims Specialist
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My team manages a growing book of insurance policies and the volume of transactions has outpaced our internal capacity. I need a seasoned professional who can jump straight into two core duties:
• Claims processing – verify coverage, assemble documentation, enter data into our carrier portal, follow up on adjuster decisions, and track each claim through to settlement.
• Billing management – generate invoices, reconcile premium payments, chase outstanding balances, and prepare monthly aging reports in QuickBooks and Excel.
Accuracy and speed are critical; compliance with carrier guidelines and state regulations must be second nature. You should already be comfortable working inside typical insurance platforms (Guidewire, Applied Epic, or similar) and able to keep meticulous digital records in a shared cloud drive.
