looking for a professional Instructional Designer for our Online courses
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
We are looking for a professional Instructional Designer to design and develop learning experiences and content for online courses. The goal is to facilitate learners in acquiring knowledge, skills and competencies in an effective and appealing manner.
Job Responsibilities include:
• Creating engaging learning activities and writing compelling course content
• Working with subject matter experts and identify target audience’s training needs
• Stating instructional end goals and create content that matches them
• Visualizing instructional graphics, the user interface and the finished product
• Conducting instructional research and analysis on learners and contexts
• Applying tested instructional design theories, practice and methods
• Providing exercises and activities that enhance the learning process
• Creating supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc)
• Deciding on the criteria used to judge learner’s performance and develop assessment instruments
• Maintaining project documentation and course folders
Required Skills
• Proven working experience in instructional design and with instructional technology
• Excellent knowledge of learning theories and instructional design models
• Lesson and curriculum planning skills
• Solid knowledge of course development software and at least one LMS
• Visual design skills and ability to storyboard
• Ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio scripts/video scripts
We are looking for someone who is:
• Available to work 6 hours/day, ideally between 9:00am to 5:00pm (Irish Time)
• Fluent in the English language
• Able to demonstrate a portfolio of work.
• Team player.
• Resourceful, able to multitask and work within production schedules.
• Detailed and accurate.
