Spanish Cultural Fluency Course Designer & Localizer

Job ID: 39925643

Budget: $15 – $25 USD

We are creating a premium series of online courses designed for professionals engaging with major Spanish-speaking markets. The goal is to move beyond "textbook Spanish" and provide deep cultural and linguistic immersion. We need a creative and skilled professional to help us build courses that are not just translated, but authentically localized for key variants like Mexican, Rioplatense (Argentina/Uruguay), and European Spanish.

This role is a unique blend of instructional design, cultural consultancy, and advanced localization.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Localization & Transcreation: Transform our core English business content into authentic, region-specific Spanish. This goes beyond translation to adapt idioms, business etiquette, case studies, and humor for Mexican, Rioplatense, and European Spanish audiences.

Cultural Framework Development: Help design course modules that teach the "why" behind the communication styles, business norms, and social cues of each target region.

Project Coordination: Manage the workflow for creating multiple parallel versions of the course, ensuring consistency in educational quality while celebrating linguistic diversity.

Voice & Tone Crafting: Ensure the learning content is engaging, respectful, and accurately reflects the communication nuances of each Spanish variant.

Required Qualifications:

Native or superior-level fluency in Spanish, with a deep, intuitive understanding of the linguistic and cultural nuances of at least two major regional variants (e.g., Mexican, Rioplatense, European Spanish).

Full professional proficiency in English.

Proven experience in transcreation, localization, or content creation for multinational Hispanic audiences.

A strong understanding of business communication and professional etiquette in the target cultures.

Excellent project management and communication skills.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Background in communications, intercultural training, or international business.

Direct personal or professional experience living/working in the target regions.

A passion for bridging cultural gaps and enhancing professional communication.
