Franchise Manual & Curriculum Expert for a Fast-Growing QSR Brand
Description
We are seeking an expert Franchise Curriculum writer to help us finalize the operational backbone, training ecosystem, and continuous-learning infrastructure that will power our expansion across North America and beyond.
You will review our existing manuals and training documents, identify gaps, and create a cohesive, professional master operations manual.
Your work will define how every franchisee, manager, and crew member thinks, acts, and delivers our promise of fast, fresh, and friendly service.
Key Responsibilities
Audit and analyze all existing SOPs, guides, checklists, brand standards, FDD references and training materials
Identify inconsistencies, gaps, and areas for improvement
Integrate and reorganize content into a single, comprehensive master manual
Ensure alignment with franchise best practices, compliance standards, and operational excellence
Deliver the final manual in editable formats for our internal digital hub (Microsoft Teams)
Franchise Operations Manual (scope of work example)
Structure: Confidential Master Manual with modular chapters plus franchisee-facing excerpts.
Core Chapters:
Corporate mission, brand voice, IP & trademark usage.
Site selection, build-out specs, décor, uniforms.
Daily opening/closing, prep lines, drive-thru, and delivery workflows.
Food safety compliance protocol
HR compliance, fair workweek, onboarding templates.
Cash controls, POS troubleshooting, P&L KPIs.
Crisis & emergency procedures (fire, power loss, public health alerts).
Sustainability & waste-reduction standards (oil recycling, packaging).
Must-Have Experience
Proven track record developing or consolidating franchise operations manuals, ideally for food service or QSR brands
Deep understanding of franchise business models and compliance requirements
Demonstrated expertise in instructional design and LMS deployment.
Ability to provide clear examples of previous relevant work
