Interactive E-Learning Content for Insurance Firm
Budget: ₹75,000 – ₹150,000 INR
Job Title:
Develop 50 Interactive Online Training Modules for Canadian Insurance Brokerage Firm (Total ~50 Hours of Content)
Job Description:
We are Mango Insurance, a leading insurance brokerage firm based in Canada, specializing in commercial and personal lines insurance. We are seeking an experienced e-learning developer or team to create a comprehensive set of 10 modules comprising 50 individual training sessions. Each session should be approximately 1 hour long (or adjusted based on topic complexity—shorter for lighter topics, longer for heavier ones), resulting in a total of around 50 hours of interactive online training content.
The goal is to build an engaging, interactive online training program for our internal team (brokers, customer service reps, claims handlers, etc.). The content covers insurance fundamentals, regulatory compliance, sales, claims management, internal processes, and more. A detailed Excel file outlining the 10 modules, 50 sub-topics (trainings), and associated details (e.g., contents, experts/contributors) is attached to this job post.
Key Project Requirements:
Content Structure:
10 main modules (e.g., Induction and Organizational Training, Insurance Fundamentals, Commercial Property & Liability Insurance, etc.).
50 sub-trainings (one per topic, e.g., "Welcome to the Company", "EOS Framework", "Commercial Property Fundamentals").
Each training should include:
Interactive elements: Quizzes, knowledge checks, scenarios, branching simulations, drag-and-drop activities, etc., to promote engagement and retention.
Multimedia: Incorporate videos, animations, infographics, audio narrations, and interactive slides.
Scripts and presentations: Build upon our existing materials (provided via company drive access).
Assessments: End-of-session quizzes with feedback, and module-level certifications or progress tracking.
Source Materials Provided:
Access to our company Google Drive with pre-collected presentations, scripts, and indexed resources for each topic.
Recorded videos from past manual training sessions (to repurpose footage, audio, or content).
Company email ID for the freelancer to collaborate directly with our module mentors, experts, and contributors (listed in the attached Excel) for feedback, clarifications, and sign-offs.
Platform and Accessibility:
The modules must be fully online and cloud-based, accessible from anywhere via web browsers (no offline downloads required).
Host on a scalable LMS (Learning Management System) like Moodle, Canvas, or similar (freelancer can recommend; we prefer open-source or cost-effective options with user tracking).
Features: User login, progress tracking, completion certificates, mobile responsiveness, and integration with our internal tools (e.g., Google Workspace).
Ensure compliance with Canadian data privacy laws (e.g., PIPEDA) for any user data collected.
Interactivity and Quality:
Make it modern and user-friendly, with gamification elements (e.g., badges, leaderboards) where appropriate.
High production quality: Professional voiceovers, clear visuals, and error-free content.
Localization: Content tailored for Canadian insurance context (e.g., references to RIBO, FSRA, provincial regulations).
Timeline:
Complete development and testing in 30-45 days from project start.
Milestones: Week 1-2 (planning and prototype for 1 module); Week 3-5 (development of 50% content); Week 6-7 (remaining content, testing, revisions); Final week (deployment and handover).
Weekly check-ins via Zoom or email for progress updates and sign-offs.
Deliverables:
Fully functional online training platform with all 50 modules.
Source files (e.g., in Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, or equivalent tool).
User guide for admins (us) to manage/update content.
Testing: Ensure compatibility across devices (desktop, tablet, mobile) and browsers.
Post-launch support: 2 weeks of bug fixes and minor adjustments.
Ideal Freelancer:
Proven experience in e-learning development (portfolio with interactive modules required).
Familiarity with insurance or financial services training (bonus, but not mandatory—we'll provide subject matter expertise).
Tools proficiency: Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar for interactive content; LMS setup (Moodle, etc.).
Strong project management skills to meet the tight timeline.
Excellent communication: You'll use our provided company email to interact with internal stakeholders for content validation.
Ability to work with existing materials and incorporate feedback iteratively.
Please include in your proposal:
Your approach to making the content interactive and engaging.
Examples of similar projects (links to demos).
Suggested tools/LMS and why.
Team size (if applicable) and how you'll meet the 30-45 day deadline.
