Instructional Designer for Skill Development Course

Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME) – [Specify Field: Data Science, Fullstack Development, Digital and Strategic Marketing, Business Analytics, HR Management and Analytics, AI/ML, or Data Structures and Algorithms]

Type: Contract/Part-Time
Key Responsibilities:
• Curriculum Design:
• Develop a comprehensive curriculum for a [specific field] course that spans 3 months (or 2 months for DSA).
• Structure the curriculum to include a blend of recorded sessions, live sessions, and practical assignments.
• Ensure the content covers both fundamental concepts and advanced topics necessary for career readiness.
• Content Development:
• Create engaging and informative recorded sessions to be delivered on alternate weekdays.
• Design practice exercises and assignments for students to complete on non-recorded days.
• Prepare materials for live teaching sessions focused on hard topics and implementation, to be conducted on weekends.
• Develop assessments, quizzes, and projects to evaluate student progress and understanding.
• Live Sessions:
• Conduct live sessions on weekends, including doubt-clearing sessions on Fridays and in-depth teaching on Saturdays and Sundays.
• Address student queries and provide real-time feedback during live sessions.
• Industry Relevance:
• Regularly update the course content to reflect the latest industry trends, tools, and practices.
• Incorporate case studies, real-world examples, and practical applications into the curriculum.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with our content development team to ensure consistency in course delivery.
• Provide input on course marketing and student engagement strategies.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience in [specific field: Data Science, Fullstack Development, etc.] with a strong portfolio of work.
• Prior experience in curriculum design and content development for online courses is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of the latest industry trends and practices.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly.
• Passion for teaching and mentoring students.
• Ability to commit to the course schedule, including recorded and live sessions.
