Instructional Designer - E-Learning Modules
Budget: $750 – $1,500 AUD
We require an experienced Instructional Designer to support our production of e-learning lessons, for our e-learning course. Our content is financially based, and so our lessons may consist of charts / graphs and associated quantitative and qualitative information. Total duration of each lesson is approximately 20 minutes.
Our preference is a fixed sum agreement per lesson, please quote up to $750 USD.
This course will total approximately 7 lessons. The contract here is for the first lesson only, so we can evaluate your performance and determine appropriate next steps.
We will provide you with completed PPT slides and completed voiceover file/s, and you will be required to:
1. Use Articulate to sync the voiceover in sequence with the slide images in a cohesive manner so the timing of speech matches the visual on screen display.
2. PPT's will need to be animated to allow the learner to absorb information in a step by step way, and not be overwhelmed with information.
For example, build on learner knowledge in steps, i.e. a step by step reveal of a list, or a graph/chart visual framework, for example. We will provide the voice-track which needs to be synced in sequence with the build as applicable.
We can provide you with completed samples of our lessons from another course, to indicate the type of delivery and the overall style we prefer.
We do not require you to create or design new content in any way, as we have already engaged a graphic designer, recording studio and others in the creation of our material.

You need to be a good communicator and work collaboratively.
We also require someone who is flexible and can meet short deadlines, from time to time.
You need to have an eye for detail and ensure that the lessons are animated in a way that reflects the meaning of the lessons, and is easily digestible for our learners.
