I’m outfitting a new wood-fired pizza restaurant and need a professional to connect the oven’s vent system. The job calls for a double-wall pipe run entirely indoors through a wood-frame structure, so code-compliant clearances, fire-stopping, and a clean aesthetic finish are essential.
Scope of work
• Map the optimal route from oven collar to termination, factoring in draft, clearance to combustibles, and service access.
• Supply and install the required double-wall sections, elbows, support brackets, fire-stop spacers, and termination cap.
• Frame, flash, and seal all penetration points to maintain structural integrity and meet local fire codes.
• Coordinate any necessary inspections and provide documentation showing compliance with NFPA 96 (or local equivalent).
• Test the completed system for proper draft and smoke evacuation.
I already have the oven in place; you’ll be responsible for everything from the first pipe section up to the final roof or ceiling exit.
