T96835 Memphis FortiSwitch 108F Installation
Budget: $65 – $70 USD
A brand-new FortiSwitch 108F is on site at our Memphis retail store and now needs to be placed into the rack, powered up, and given a basic, first-run configuration.
Scope of work
• Rack the switch securely, connect to the existing power strip, and verify stable power.
• Apply a simple initial configuration: set management IP, gateway, DNS, and one user-defined VLAN as I will specify on the day. No advanced scripting or complex policy work is required.
• Confirm the switch is reachable from my remote workstation and that all indicator LEDs show expected status.
• Provide a brief post-install report with the steps taken, screenshots or photos of the rack, and the final running-config.
Site time 1PM
Acceptance
The job is considered done once the switch is mounted, powered, configured as outlined above, and remote reachability is confirmed. A short hand-off report emailed the same day will close the task.
Let me know your earliest available window so I can coordinate store access with on-site staff.
