Install Aluminum Sliding Kitchen Window

Job ID: 40065082

Budget: $250 – $750 AUD

I already have a new sliding window and an existing aluminum frame in place over the kitchen sink; I now need someone to fit the window securely and weather-tight. The opening is square and clear, but final alignment, insulation, and sealing still have to be done.

What I expect from you:
• Set the window into the aluminum frame, check it is perfectly level, and ensure both sashes glide smoothly.
• Apply the appropriate flashing tape, silicone, or expanding foam so the unit is fully sealed against drafts and moisture.
• Finish off with neat interior and exterior trim so the install looks factory-clean.
• Remove any old caulk or debris and leave the workspace tidy when you’re done.

Please bring the basic glazing tools (level, drill/driver, shims, sealant gun) and any consumables you prefer to work with; I can supply standard silicone if needed. The house is not occupied, so I’d like the job completed in one visit if possible. Let me know your availability and any measurements you need in advance, and I’ll confirm access and parking details.
