Key Responsibilities:
Install, terminate, and test fibre optic cabling efficiently and to the highest industry standards.
Work collaboratively with event coordinators and technical teams to ensure seamless execution.
Diagnose and resolve issues rapidly in a dynamic, high-pressure environment.
Plan and route cabling systems, ensuring optimal connectivity and minimal disruption.
Adhere to strict project timelines and maintain a consistent standard of excellence.
Maintain accurate documentation of cabling layouts, testing results, and system changes.
Skills & Experience Required:
Proven experience in fibre optic cabling installation and maintenance.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
Experience in high-pressure environments, such as live events, conferences, or critical infrastructure projects.
Proficiency with tools and techniques for splicing, terminating, and testing fibre cabling.
Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong understanding of health and safety standards in cabling operations.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certifications in Fibre Optic Technology or similar (e.g., FOA, BICSI).
Familiarity with various fibre optic equipment and testing tools.
Experience working with tight deadlines and adapting to evolving project scopes.
