Instagram Growth Strategist for Fine Art Photographer

I am a fine art photographer and artist with multiple completed bodies of work. I currently have 2,000+ Instagram followers but low engagement. I am not interested in vanity metrics — I want to grow a genuinely engaged audience that includes:
Art & photography collectors
Gallerists and curators
Magazine/photo editors
Photography workshop students
Serious art enthusiasts
My long-term goal is to grow both my email list and qualified audience in order to sell artwork and workshops sustainably.

Responsibilities
Audit my current Instagram and identify engagement gaps
Research and identify relevant art/photography communities and audiences
Develop a sustainable growth strategy
Manage intentional engagement (commenting, conversation, community building)
Suggest optimized captions, calls-to-action, and email opt-in approaches
Identify partnerships, features, or collaborations that bring qualified followers
Track growth metrics focused on engagement quality (not just follower count)
Optional but valuable:
Experience growing email lists through Instagram
Understanding of art collectors and gallery ecosystems
Experience in photography or fine art niches
Requirements
Strong written English
Demonstrated experience growing accounts organically
Clear explanation of your growth methods
No bot services, purchased followers, or automation tactics
Ability to think strategically and work independently
Provide case studies or examples of accounts you’ve grown
