We are looking for a fast, detail-oriented freelancer to help us check whether 1200 Instagram profiles and 600 Facebook pages are currently running ads.
Scope of Work:
You will be provided with:
1200 Instagram business profile links
600 Facebook business page links
Your task is to verify if each account is running ads using Meta’s official tools and record the result in a spreadsheet.
How to Check Ad Activity:
Step 1 – Identify whether the link is a Facebook or Instagram page.
You must first search the business in the Meta Ads Library:
https://www.facebook.com/ads/library/
Enter the Facebook Page name or Instagram handle.
If the business is running ads, they will appear here.
If the account isn’t found, go to Step 2 or 3.
Step 2 – For Facebook Pages:
Visit the Facebook page.
Scroll to “Page Transparency.”
Click “See All.”
If ads are running, you’ll see a “Go to Ad Library” button.
Step 3 – For Instagram Profiles:
Go to the profile.
Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) → Tap “About This Account.”
If the account is running ads, it will show “This account is running ads.”
How to Record Results (in Google Sheet):
Mark each row with:
Y – if ads are running
N – if no ads are running
Not found – if the account cannot be located in Meta Ad Library
Urgent Timeline:
Must be fully completed within 2 hours of assignment.
