I'm seeking an individual with intermediate experience in operating and inspecting using a portable CMM. Your primary responsibility will be to perform inspection tasks on aerospace parts.

Successful candidates should:
- Have a background in mechanical inspection or quality control
- Be familiar with aerospace industry standards
- Possess strong understanding of portable CMM operations
- Have strong attention to detail

• Perform first piece, in-process, receiving, final, and tool/fixture inspections on primarily metal (aluminum and steel) components. Inspections will require a fundamental understanding of GD&T, and the use of basic/intermediate tools such as calipers, micrometers, height gauges, thread gauges, GO/NO GO gauges, etc. Some inspections could also require the use of intermediate/advanced inspection equipment such as: CMM (Mitutoyo utilizing MCOSMOS software), FARO arm/tracker (utilizing Verisurf software), and optical comparator. The individual should be able to perform the inspections with minimal supervision.
This is an intermediate level project, so relevant experience will place you at an advantage. Your role will be critical in ensuring the consistency and quality of our aerospace components. Please have prior experience in using a portable CMM for inspections.
