GCP High-Availability Python Deployment
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I'm seeking a skilled cloud engineer to craft a Google Cloud Platform (GCP) template that will enable the deployment of two Python-based Cloud Run images with high availability through a global load balancer.
Requirements include:
- Proficient in writing infrastructure-as-code (IaC) templates for GCP.
- Experienced with setting up Cloud Run services.
- Knowledgeable in the integration of GCP global load balancers for high availability.
Details:
Template must deploy two groups of services. Both services are APIs. container1 is public facing API and container1 2 is internal only API. Both needs to deployed in VPC network. The flow is simple, container1 takes in user request and distribute it for processing to container2. I want both containers to be deployed in multiple regions by passing in an array like REGIONS=["region1", "regios2"....].
Load balancing:
Both group of services should be globally load balanced. Container1 loadbalancer wil be mapped to custom public domain. container2 service load balancer should be internal only. As container1 service make api call to container2 service, a envrionment variable needs to be set in container1 deployment with container2 service LB url. SERVER_URL=<container2 internal lb URL">.
The successful candidate should be comfortable with:
- Python-based environments on GCP.
- Implementing best practices for GCP architecture.
- Ensuring the services are set up for optimal scalability and fault tolerance.
Ideal Experience:
- Prior projects involving Python applications on GCP cloud run.
