Informatica Data Engineer

Job Description Informatica data engineer:

Responsibilities:
• Perform IICS data integration code build work and enhancements as per the requirements following the best practices, coding standards and design/architecture
• Participate in ETL Informatica solution design and data discovery meetings
• Perform Informatica
• code reviews, QA support and deployments
• Provide on-call support as Level1 & Level2 for ETL jobs


Skillset:
• 6-8 years’ experience as a Informatica PowerCenter in a data warehousing environment
• 2 years’ Experience with Informatica’s ETL / integration platform –Informatica Cloud (IICS) – Data Integration/Application Integration
• 6-8 years’ Experience with advanced SQL in databases like SQL Server or Oracle (Good to have Azure db experience)
• Experience working with Salesforce integration using Informatica
• Experience with a scripting language like Python and Batch
• Nice to have -- experience with Informatica PowerExchange for Oracle Change data capture
• Nice to have -- experience with Azure databricks/ADLS environment
• Experience in coordinating the code delivery with PM’s, Admins and QA
• Understanding of data integration, business intelligence and data warehousing concepts like dimensional modeling
• Understanding of the technology processes such as SDLC using Agile methodology, testing approaches and software release management
