Vintage Collectic Homeware Design Suite
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I’m developing a cohesive line of vintage-inspired homewares and need a creative product designer to turn my ideas into production-ready assets.
Scope
• Start with cutlery as the hero piece, then carry the same visual language across coasters, trays, mirrors, and ceramic spoons.
• Emphasise authentic vintage details—think patinaed metal accents paired with richly glazed ceramics.
• Recommend suitable ceramic and metal finishes that age gracefully yet remain food-safe.
• Deliver a detailed concept pack for each item, including:
– Style boards and colour references
– 3D visual mock-ups or high-fidelity sketches
– Material and manufacturing notes (dimensions, weights, finish codes)
– At least one alternate treatment to show range flexibility
What will make this a success
• Designs look like they could be found at a high-end vintage market, not a retro pastiche.
• Cutlery feels balanced in the hand and production-friendly for stainless steel or brass.
• Ceramics show subtle glazing variation that complements the metalwork.
• All files supplied in editable format (e.g., SolidWorks, STEP, or Illustrator—whatever matches your workflow) plus presentation-ready PDFs.
