Review pelvic shell architecture for comfort, fit, and pressure distribution.
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I am developing a wearable athletic pelvic chassis that transfers external force through the pelvis while preserving athletic movement.
I am seeking an experienced orthotist, prosthetist, or biomechanical clinician to review the current shell architecture before CAD completion.
This is not a request to redesign the product.
I am looking for expert feedback regarding:
• Anatomical fit
• Pressure distribution strategy
• Iliac crest engagement
• Posterior ilium support
• ASIS clearance
• Hip flexion compatibility
• Comfort risks
• Potential pressure concentrations
• Long-term wear considerations
I will provide architecture drawings, geometry definitions, and design intent documents.
Deliverables:
1. Written review of the shell architecture
2. Identification of potential fit or comfort concerns
3. Recommendations for pressure distribution improvements
4. Recommendations regarding padding and interface materials
5. Assessment of whether the architecture aligns with established orthotic principles
Experience with pelvic orthoses, spinal orthoses, hip orthoses, prosthetics, or custom body-interface devices is strongly preferred.
