The locking experience is extremely important.
My preferred concept is:
* Magnets guide and align the two halves together
* The connection feels precise and premium
* The buckle should NOT rely on squeezing both sides together to lock
* After alignment, the user intentionally presses the main button to engage the locking mechanism
* Once locked, the buckle should feel extremely secure with minimal movement or play
* Strong pull resistance suitable for large dogs
* Premium tactile click and sound
* Easy and controlled unlocking using the same button
* The locking pin should retract cleanly back into the housing when unlocked
