Fusion 360 Expert Needed — 3D-Printable Quadcopter Drone Model (STL / Parametric)
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
Project Description
We are looking for an experienced Fusion 360 designer to create a fully parameterized, 3D-printable quadcopter drone model. The final deliverables will include STL files ready for 3D printing, along with the original Fusion 360 design files. The design should be similar in structure and functionality to the quadcopter shown in the following reference:
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=L_O45iEar4M
Our focus is on functional assembly, proper fixation between components, and parametric modeling, allowing us to easily adjust key dimensions and configurations in the future.
Scope of Work
1. Complete Quadcopter Model
Frame structure including arms, center body, and motor mounts
Landing gear / feet
Mounting points for electronics (flight controller, ESCs, battery, etc.)
Optional protective or aesthetic elements (canopy, guards)
2. Parametric Design
All main dimensions (arm length, motor spacing, frame thickness, overall size) must be adjustable through parameters
Clear and well-organized parameter naming within Fusion 360
3. Assembly & Fixation
Parts must be designed to fit and fix together correctly
Use of screws, slots, tabs, clips, or press-fit connections where appropriate
Include countersinks, mounting holes, and cable routing features as needed
Provide basic assembly guidance (text or screenshots is sufficient)
Size should be similar to the model of the video, elements in the description of the video have exact sizing in each website of resellers. Please only use sizes of the elements indicated in the list.
4. 3D Print–Ready Output
Export all components as high-quality STL files
Ensure parts are optimized for common FDM 3D printers
Consider tolerances, overhangs, and support requirements
Optional recommendations for print orientation and settings
Required Experience
Strong experience with Fusion 360
ONLY FUSION360 no other software.
Experience designing parts specifically for 3D printing
Understanding of real-world fit, tolerances, and assembly
Deliverables
Fully parametric Fusion 360 source files
Individual STL files for all parts
Optional assembly notes or documentation
Optional printing and tolerance recommendations
Skills & Tools
Fusion 360 (mandatory)
