Electronics Product Design for Launch
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I’m gearing up to introduce a brand-new electronic device and need it taken from idea to production-ready design. The goal is a cohesive product that looks great, feels intuitive in the hand, and is ready for the next steps with manufacturers.
You will start with my rough concept notes and translate them into a polished form factor that aligns with current market expectations for consumer electronics. Materials, finish options, and any usability considerations should be thoughtfully explored and clearly communicated.
To make collaboration smooth, please include:
- Early-stage sketches or mood boards that capture the overall direction
- A refined 3D CAD model (STEP or IGES) with correct dimensions and tolerances
- Photorealistic renders showing the product from key angles
- A short design rationale outlining decisions on ergonomics, materials, and aesthetics
Experience with electronics enclosure design, CAD tools such as SolidWorks or Fusion 360, and a portfolio of similar work will be important indicators of fit. Clear milestone files and source data must be handed over so the design can move directly into prototyping and, ultimately, mass production.
