Description:
Design 4-layer PCB carrier board for ESP32-WROOM-32 gate controller application.
Requirements:
- ESP32-WROOM-32 module socket
- W5500 Ethernet controller with RJ45 connector + magnetics
- 2x MAX485 RS485 transceivers with screw terminals
- Wiegand interface (2-pin screw terminal) with DIP switch for application selection
- 3x button inputs with pullups
- 3x relay outputs (screw terminals, flyback protection)
- Power input (12-24VDC screw terminal)
- 5V→3.3V regulation
- Industrial temperature components (-40°C to +85°C)
- All external connections via screw terminals (no headers)
Board Specs:
- 2-layer PCB, ~100x80mm max
- Through-hole components where possible
- Proper ground planes, EMI considerations
- Mounting holes for DIN rail enclosure
Deliverables:
- Complete KiCad project files (.kicad_pro, .kicad_sch, .kicad_pcb)
- Gerber files + drill files (ready for manufacturing)
