Touch up the Book Layout of My InDesign File
Budget: $50 – $0 USD
Hello freelancers, thank you for your time.
Today I'm looking for someone to help me to repair / touch up / polish my InDesign layout.
Background:
> I am the author of this book.
> I did the InDesign layout of this book myself (therefore it's not very good!).
> This book is in print already, but I'm getting ready to make my second order. That means this is a perfect time to submit a new 'master' file to the printer, to make the book look and feel better.

SPECIFIC REQUESTS:
> First and foremost, I'm betting you have far more understanding and experience with 'best practices' when printing this kind of project. Therefore, I want to lean on your best judgment more than anything. That said, here are a few of my ideas - but I'm curious if you agree or if you like the way it is.
> IMAGE-1: You'll notice how crappy the Table of Contents is. I just could not figure out how to get this to look good. It's so heavy and busy... I hope you'll have a better idea.
> IMAGE-2: You'll notice in the photos of the print book that the word, letter and line spacing feels (to me) a little wonky. I feel like everything might be spread out a little too much, but I don't know. What will you think? I am curious.
> IMAGE-3: I do not like the 'footer' of the book. Maybe some of that needs to be in a header? I just don't know.
> I also do not think the photos are spaced/margined well. Maybe they need to have borders? I don't know...
NOTE: The photo positioning is very important and must be preserved; the photos must appear at the same place in the text as they are currently.
> IMAGE-6, IMAGE-7: The print file has two blank pages at the end... that's pretty unprofessional :P

TURN-AROUND TIME: I'm not in a huge rush, but within a week would be great.
