TTRPG Supplement Art & Layout

Job ID: 40107023

Budget: $750 – $1,500 USD

I’m in the middle of play-testing a new tabletop-RPG supplement and I’m ready to start shaping its look. The project has two equally important sides: illustration and page layout.

On the art front I need a cover that immediately drops players into a detailed merchant tent setting. Think racks of blades, crates of exotic arms, maybe the merchant half-hidden behind hanging steel—realistic enough to feel tangible but not photo-real. Inside, I’d like one additional full-page scene set in the same tent, this time pulled back to show the full, expansive array of weapons. Beyond those pieces, roughly 300 individual weapon illustrations are required. Each will sit at about 2 × 2 inches (final size flexible once layout is locked), so clean silhouettes, clear forms, and consistent style matter more than ultra-fine rendering. I’m open to stylistic suggestions as long as we stay on the “believable yet illustrated” side of the spectrum.

Layout help is just as critical. The manuscript is still shifting, but I want someone who can establish page templates, slot in the art, and deliver a print-ready file (PDF plus source, preferably InDesign or Affinity Publisher). If you’ve tackled RPG books before—indexing, tables, spot-art placement—that’s a plus.

Deliverables
• Front cover illustration, full bleed, CMYK, 300 dpi
• One possible additional full-page illustration matching the cover’s look
• ~300 weapon spot illustrations, transparent PNG or layered PSD
• Interior layout for the entire book, print-ready PDF + source files

If you’re comfortable blending illustration with page-design workflow and you like the idea of bringing a bustling fantasy armory to life, let’s talk timing and milestones.
