Sanskrit Notes Book Layout

Job ID: 40321924

Budget: ₹100 – ₹400 INR

I have a set of raw, typed Sanskrit notes that now need to be transformed into a clean, publication-ready book. The content itself is complete; the task is all about layout, consistency and visual polish.

Style & aesthetics
• Overall feel: crisp, Modern formatting—ample white space, balanced headings, paragraph styles and clear navigation.
• Typeface: everything must sit in the “Nirmal UI” font family so the Devanāgarī and transliterated sections align perfectly.

Enhancements to weave in
Images or illustrations will accompany certain verses, while a handful of explanatory tables and charts break down grammatical points. I would also like light-hearted cartoons in the margins to keep the tone approachable. All artwork will be supplied; you only need to size, place and caption it consistently.

What I will hand over
– The raw text as Word files (mixed Devanāgarī and IAST).
– A folder of all images, charts and cartoons, each labelled to match its insertion point.

What I need back
• A print-ready msword that a printer can use without further tweaks (standard bleed and crop marks).
• The editable source file (InDesign, Affinity Publisher or an equally capable tool—your choice, as long as the result stays fully editable with styles intact).
• A quick style guide so future reprints preserve the same look.

Everything should be free of widows/orphans, with automatic footnote numbering left untouched. If this sounds straightforward for you, let me know your usual turnaround for a 180-page manuscript and which layout tool you prefer so we can get started.
