Print Text Book Design (Adobe InDesigner)

Looking for an experienced Adobe InDesign user for the design of a print textbook of approximately 210 pages in length A4 print format (210x297mm or 8.27x11.96 inches). The book is written in Microsoft Word format and includes numerous tables and pictures. The pictures are held in a separate file with references made for picture numbers in appropriate places in the text. The word document is cleanly designed and indicates intended positions of tables and pictures clearly. Tables and the overall look is also comprehensively designed throughout, though the required designer is asked to make the end result more appropriate for a stylish textbook print publication, and for it to look less like simply a Word document (i.e., some liberty with the design to improve it is required rather than simply copying and pasting the entirety and not thinking about the overall look and design). Also required would be the preamble sections and content sections, and publication page (all of which is already prepared in a general format which again requires some design improvement). Finally, for the book cover suggested pictures for use, logo, name and general color scheme will be provided, but the final design is up to the designer. Credit for the Design work will be included in the publications page for the designer.

This project will be awarded to finalists on around 20th November 2022, with a deadline for ultimate completion within three weeks. The designer will be required to sign a copyright agreement prior to commencing work (accepting that no additions created amount to any copyrights and that full copyright remains in the originators hands), and updates each week on the progress of the work.
