Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I already have every visual decision made for this 6 x 9 book. The front cover composition, back cover grid, spine width (0.455"), typography, colour palette, and image positions are all locked in.
What I need is a production-minded designer who can translate my final layout files into a flawless, KDP-ready full wrap PDF. No reinterpretation, no tweaks, simply precise execution.
You will receive a complete brief that includes:
A composite mockup showing exact alignment across front, spine, and back
My author photo and publisher logo at their final sizes
Written specifications for margins, bleed, fonts, and colour values
The job is straightforward:
Re-create the cover in InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or the tool of your choice, matching every measurement and typographic setting exactly
Export a print-ready PDF that meets KDP bleed, colour (CMYK), and file size requirements
Send a low-resolution proof for approval, then deliver the final high-resolution PDF
Acceptance criteria:
Pixel-perfect alignment when folded, with no drift between panels
Embedded fonts and images at 300 DPI minimum
KDP preview must show zero warnings or trimming issues
If this level of precision is natural to you, this is the first of several titles I will be producing.
You must stay in communication with me so I can review and approve the final design.
