I need a clean, column-based layout for the Lifestyle & Culture pages of an upcoming newspaper issue. The goal is to present feature articles, short sidebars, and supporting photography in a way that feels cohesive and easy to read while still giving the content some personality.
You are free to steer the overall aesthetic—modern, classic, or somewhere in between—as long as the final design stays true to a newspaper format and maintains strong grid discipline. I’m picturing:
• A consistent multi-column grid that can flex for long-form stories, briefs, and pull quotes
• Clear hierarchy through smart typography choices and subtle use of colour accents
• Space allocated for high-resolution images without overwhelming the text
Deliverables
• Editable layout file (InDesign, Affinity Publisher, or similar)
• Print-ready PDF at tabloid or broadsheet size (we can confirm exact specs together)
• Simple style guide outlining fonts, column widths, margins, and colour swatches
