Non-Fiction Book Design
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 AUD
I'm seeking a skilled book designer to design my great grandfather's biography, ready for printing. The book is written already: approx 20,000 words and 65 images, most photographs but some genealogical tables. I want an A5 format. The cover is already designed.
Requirements:
- Design incorporating images or illustrations and tables or charts where specified
- Final file in PDF format
- Some images may require manipulation to get better contrast or sharpness.
Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Proficiency in book design, especially for a similar biography.
- Experience with layout and integration of visuals like images, tables, and charts
- Attention to detail and a strong aesthetic sense
- Familiarity with design software (e.g., Adobe InDesign)
