InDesign Find & Replace script
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I'm looking for a GUI-based InDesign Extension or script that will easily allow me to search and replace text in a folder of InDesign documents. Functionality should include the following:
1) Prompt to identify the enclosing folder or InDesign files
2) Prompt to enter search & replacement text
3) Recursive search through the subfolders
4) Each document should automatically open, apply changes, save & close.
5) Needs to work on Mac using InDesign CC 2022.
I can purchase an off-the-shelf solution for $50 but since this functionality is already included in Abode products, I'm hoping one of you has already scripted this for less. I do not want to have to open and edit text files to define the final and replace text. Thanks.
