Illustrative Action Thriller Cover Design

I’m getting the paperback edition of my 270-page thriller ready for press and need a striking full-wrap cover in an illustrative style. Trim size is 13.25" wide x 9.25" high (that includes front, spine, and back), printed four-colour.

The story opens with a young couple racing across open water in a small boat while a helicopter rains bullets down on them. I want that urgency to explode off the shelf: action-packed, intense, cinematic. The couple’s faces must dominate the design in a stylised, repeatable treatment because this will be book one of a series that keeps the similar energy protagonists on every cover. Secondary imagery—boat, ocean spray, muzzle flashes from the helicopter—should frame the couple and amplify the tension without stealing focus.

Please build the layout so I can easily swap the title and spine text for future instalments. A KDP-ready PDF (300 dpi, CMYK, with bleed) plus the layered source file in either Photoshop or InDesign will be the final deliverable. If you need exact spine width, let me know what measurements you require and I’ll provide them immediately.
