Format & Upload 3 KDP Books
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I have three completed books that already exist as PDFs and original Adobe InDesign files. All text and covers are final; I simply need them conformed to Amazon KDP specifications and published in every format KDP allows me to select—eBook (Kindle), Paperback, and Hardcover and also show a 4 page preview of each book.
Here is the exact scope:
• Convert each InDesign project into a reflowable Kindle file compliant with current KDP guidelines, checking it in Kindle Previewer to be sure there are no layout glitches.
• Generate print-ready PDFs for both paperback and hardcover, applying the correct trim size, bleed, margins, and spine width so the files clear KDP’s print preview without errors.
• Re-use my existing cover art by resizing/adjusting it for the three formats; no redesign work is required.
• Upload every file into my KDP dashboard, enter the basic metadata I supply, and walk the projects through the preview/approval process until KDP shows all three titles as “Publishing.”
• Deliver a brief hand-over note outlining the steps you took and any settings I should remember if I update the books later (e.g., InDesign export presets, trim size, ISBN mapping).
No editing, layout tweaks, or new graphics are needed—this is strictly a technical formatting and upload job. Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Kindle Create/Kindle Previewer, and the KDP interface is essential so the process runs smoothly the first time.
Opportunity available to help me market the books as well if you have experience.
