Format Manuscript for Amazon Publishing

My manuscript is fully written and I already have the front-cover artwork ready to go. What I now need is a professional finish: clean interior formatting, correct metadata, and production-ready files that I can upload straight into Amazon KDP.

Scope of work
• Format the text for two outputs—one 6" x 9" paperback and a matching Kindle eBook.
• Embed fonts, page numbers, front matter, back matter, and any ornamental breaks so everything looks consistent online and in print.
• Adjust my supplied cover design if trim or spine calculations change during layout.
• Supply final PDFs for the paperback (cover + interior) and a polished EPUB/MOBI that passes Kindle Previewer checks.
• Provide a print-ready PDF suitable for ordering a small run of author copies for client distribution.

Acceptance criteria
The files must upload to Amazon without error messages, render correctly on Kindle devices and tablets, and be press-ready at 300 dpi with all bleeds and margins respected.

If you work in InDesign, Vellum, or similar professional tools and have recent KDP experience, this should be a straightforward project. Once the deliverables pass Amazon’s preview and I can order a test batch, the job is complete.
