Fantasy Manuscript Copyedit & Format
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
My fantasy light novel is partially complete and now needs a professional polish. The partial draft is sitting at roughly 4,000 words, written in Word, and I’d like a fresh pair of eyes to handle both copyediting and interior formatting so I can move confidently toward final completion and publication.
Copyediting
– Tighten sentence flow, fix grammar, spot inconsistencies in tone, character names, or world-building details.
– Use Track Changes so I can review every adjustment.
Formatting
– Apply a clean, industry-standard layout in Word that will convert smoothly to EPUB and print-ready PDF.
– Create clear chapter headings, decorative scene breaks that suit the fantasy feel, and consistent paragraph styles.
Deliverables
1. The edited manuscript with all edits visible in Track Changes plus a clean version.
2. A fully formatted file (Word + PDF) ready for KDP or similar platforms.
3. A brief style sheet summarizing decisions on spelling, punctuation, and formatting choices.
I’m happy to answer questions about lore, terminology, or preferred style guides. If you’ve worked on fantasy before, please include a sample; otherwise, a short test edit of one page will help me gauge fit. Let’s bring this world to life together.
